Get the Best Possible Quality of Digital Images

Our scanner scans an optical resolution of 600 dpi with 1200 dpi output resolution. For those of you confused, optical resolution is the actual number of pixels that are read. This measures the intensity of the light that reflects from a scanned image and converts it. As resolution increases, so does the file size. If the resolution is too low, you will see the pixels and have 'the grainy or dotted' effect. Therefore, the higher the dpi, the better your scans will turn out.

Our services include the best digital scanning quality for your photos that your photographs have. This does not include having your photographs edited. However, the majority of the battle of digitally scanning your photos is the time it takes to get them all scanned and then uploaded to your computer from your device so that you can edit them. With us doing the time-consuming digital scanning for you, you can relax and enjoy editing your own photographs in your own spare time!

We put all of your old photographs or documents on your choice of memory storage (usb flash drive, cd, dvd, or external harddrive) - if you prefer, we can even post them to the web and share them with others. When choosing memory storage, we prefer to put the digitized items on to either a usb flash drive or an external harddrive because that type of storage can literally hold thousands of images and you can plug it directly into your computer or a digital picture frame. Once the old photographs or documents are all on a memory storage device, you can easily insert it into your computer and use it as you wish - to edit your own photos the exact way that YOU want them to be edited (lightened, sharpened, more contrast, etc), file them for later use, etc!

Our scanning services are usually done off-site (at our location) but we understand there are papers with sensitive information that cannot leave your business. For this reason, scanning can be done onsite (at your business location) for additional cost.

These prices are for offsite document scanning. Availability and pricing, for onsite document scanning services, is dependent upon the location of your business and the estimated length of scanning services required.

The above listed price of digitally scanning paper documents includes job setup, document page preparations (removing staples and paperclips), after scanning page reassembly (re-stapling and putting paperclips back where they were).

* The memory device that you receive will be re-writable so that you can edit your digital photographs. We will scan the photographs as .jpg files so that they will have the highest quality and be easily editable by any photo-editing software. Once we have scanned your photos, they will all be returned to you, as we received them and in the same order. When you are editing your digital pictures, it is highly advised that you save the edited version with a different photograph name so that you don't lose the original digital version.

** The documents or papers must be staple-free and unattached or there will be an additional charge. Paperclips may be used and we will keep those in their own batches so as not to mix them up.

*** Any scans requested to be posted on the web will only be posted for a pre-determined amount of time, which will give others the ability to view them IF you give them the login information. Pages will be password-protected so they will not be available for public viewing on the internet.

We suggest using a USB flash memory drive or external harddrive device because they hold so many more digital pictures and photographs and you don't have to worry about keeping track of multiple cd's or dvd's. Note: Disks will start adding up very quickly if you have a lot of pictures.

Our high-quality scanned digital copies (in case you want a duplicate digital set (such as photos for other family members) pricing is as-follows:

Digital picture frame pricing is as follows:

Purchasing a digital picture frame, through us, is not required. However, we can include a brand new digital picture frame (if you purchase the USB Digital Memory Device) so you can just plug the usb in and start watching your digital photographs as soon as you get your pictures back. Please note that Digital picture frames will use standard USB memory storage (and will not work with CD or DVD's).

The pricing for a digital picture frame will include a one-year manufacturer's warranty on the picture frame.
